Review Paper Notes
Today I add a call with my aunt where I learnt about research papers. To be more specific, review papers so that one day we would also be able to write review papers in a proper and accurate manner.
Of course though, we cannot move onto "What is a Review Paper?" without knowing first "What is a Research Paper?" For a review paper is only what is part of a research paper.
What is a Research Paper?
Research Paper, simplified to its very core is simply a method to present facts and through all of them something novel is concluded. This does bring into question the difference between Patents and Research Papers, and what separates them? It is one fine line that does. Simply put, a patent is hypothetically implementable meanwhile a research paper should be implementable. The key difference merely lies between two words.
The types of Research Paper:
- Review Paper
- Survey Paper
- Research Paper
Review Paper
A review article is an academic paper summarizing the existing knowledge within a field. A review paper is usually a comparison between research papers. After all it is a review paper. To bring novelty into this field one merely compares and finds the gaps of knowledge and then concludes by filling them.
